ELIZABETH ADDO OF GHANA

Elizabeth Addo is one of the leading female footballers of Ghana. Her professional football career began in 2007, when she played in the U-14 international tournament. She further played in the U-17, U-20 and U-23 tournaments before moving on to the adult team of Ghana.

Ms Addo has played in Europe, Nigeria, China and the United States of America. In those different countries, she has won matches up to the finals. In 2016, she led the Ghanaian team to win third place at the African Women Cup of Nations.

She has won two Man of the match awards, nominated Africa Women’s Player of the Year 2016, 2018, 2019. She is captain of Ghana’s Women Football team.
